I did love me some 90210- that Brenda! So mean. That Andrea! So smart. And really, where is Jennie Garth? Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I saw the DVDs at Costco yesterday and I considered them.:)

Oh, and you’re talking about the girl who played Janet, but what about Hilary Swank! She was a nobody-turned-A-list probably due in part to her regular spot on at least one season of 90210. Remember? Who else guest starred? I’m sure there are more I’m forgetting…

I know, I know… 90210 changed teenage television forever. There were no teen dramas on TV prior to that - now I feel like every time I turn around it’s some Dawson’s-Creek-One-Tree-Hill extravaganza. I remember 90210 being really unique at the time. Still love watching the reruns, and I’m sure I always will.

Oh. My. Gosh. Whatever. 90210 rocked. No other show will ever rock as much. Who can forget all the twists and turns and all the b-list actors who went on to greater things (just not from the cast itself except whatsherface who was Steve’s g-friend/wife now on Lipstick Jungle - go girl!). I’m prob not going to watch the new version of the show, for me, these things are always better in the past. Plus I’m less inclined to make a M&M covered cake that spelled out “90210″ these days . . . what’s so funny is that 90210 went off the air essentially as Friends was picking up steam as a show to take seriously - I feel like we just moved into that TV world and now that’s going to be outdated in just a few years too!!! For now at least there are no replacements for either.
