Well, I’ve returned from vacation. It was fantastic. Relaxing, fun, sunny… I’m having a bit of trouble readjusting to “real life” – doesn’t help that it’s raining here today and having to go back to work is tough when I’d so much rather be back in Edmonds grabbing coffee at the Walnut Street Cafe or having a beer on the patio with Jel. Sigh.
Pictures are posted on Flickr which really speak for themselves, but here are a few highlights from the trip:
- Dinner, laughs, and commandeering the jukebox at Diamond Knot with Amy & Jel.
- Reliving the 80’s & 90’s music videos on YouTube.
- Doing the MIB dance with Will for the first time in almost a decade.
- Introducing Sean to “Dumb & Dumber”.
- Dealing with the smell I most commonly associate with NYC in a Seattle’s Best Coffee shop in downtown Seattle.
- N.E.I.E.C.
- Dancing in the parking lot of the QFC to one of our old mix tapes until 50 cops showed up for some reason which made us nervous so we sped off.
- Trying to find parking for the new PCC – have people never seen one before??
- Cracking up in the grocery store…what were we laughing at anyway?
- Getting to spend 10 whole days with my best friend.

You need to add “priceless” to the end of that list
Haha! Yeah, you’re right, except I’d need to go down my list and put a cost on the other items for that to make sense.
