- Crisp, clear days
- Sweaters
- The smell of burning leaves
- The Peddler’s Village Apple Festival
- Hayrides
- Pumpkin anything (scones, bread, lattes…) are back in fashion
- Thanksgiving
- Hot cider
- Fireplace fires
- Foliage!
And on that last point, here are some pics I took today - I plan to take more, but thought this was a good start. It’s by far one of the nicest things about living in the Northeast.
You have no idea how sad I am to be missing it all! I can’t believe you already have such beautiful color…it’s finally getting cooler here (42 in the am, 65-69 in the afternoon) but not like it should be. This is why I wanted to take our vacation up there in the FALL!!!
@Kristin - I know! You guys were here SO close to fall this year, but alas. Remember for future reference that PA usually hits their peak in mid-to-late October.
