What I'm kinda thinking now is that I might only pay off the card that has the interest, and use whatever's left over to cover as many items on my to-do list as possible (including a new bed) and then if there's anything remaining, it can go towards the other card. Turns out I'm actually not going to get back as much as I originally thought on my taxes (about half) which is still great, but leaves less funds to do other things with than I had thought...but that's fine. You MUST write this all up someday for some financial freedom publication or something because people are rarely diligent over the long haul and that is the key to how you are winning this battle you just don't quit.
